Choosing the right hose solution is about as obvious as choosing the right screw. No one link is weaker than the other and finding the right hose for the right occasion can be a scourge. Below we have compiled some of the most frequently asked questions we have received from our customers.

Only Swedish companies can make orders through our e-commerce. We refer foreign customers to place their order by telephone or email, + 46 - 211 26 00 / slang@slangspecialisten.se.


How do I become a customer?

How do I log in to Slangspecialisten.se?

We have created several alternative ways for you to log in to your customer account. Firstly, you can choose to log in through the pop-up that appears when you click on the page. You can also choose to go click on the “login” icon in the top right corner. 


I have forgotten my password, how do I get a new one?

If you have forgotten your password, click on the "Forgot password" button under the login box, the "Send new password" option will appear. If you click on it, a new password will automatically be sent to you at the specified email address. You can then, once logged in, go to "My Account" and change your password again.


How do I pay for my order?

If you are a new customer at slangspecialisten.se, information is shared with our payment provider Svea Ekonomi. Svea stores first name, last name, address, e-mail address and telephone number. Information is stored in order to carry out credit checks and purchases and to ensure that both parties are protected against fraud. There are no extra charges for invoice payment through Svea.

If you are a previous customer of Slangspecialisten, you pay for your goods by invoice. You have 30 days to pay your invoice, counting from the day we send your order. In order to buy against invoice, you must be an approved and registered customer with us.


How is my order delivered?

In order to deliver your orders and complete our agreement, we need to share specific information with the shipping company. What is shared with the shipping company is first name, last name and address information for delivery.

Email address and/or mobile number may also be shared with the shipping company for notification purposes. The shipping companies we work with are: DHL, Postnord, DSV, Schenker, UPS, TNT.


How long is the delivery time?

Our normal delivery times are 2-7 days. If your order contains a made-to-order item, we will let you know when to expect delivery. Orders placed on weekends will be dispatched the following Monday at the earliest. If there are any delays in delivery, we will let you know. 


How do you calculate the shipping cost? 

Shipping is calculated on weight/volume in the shipping portals we use. 


How is my order packed?

Small and fragile parts are packed in cardboard or Jiffy bags. Larger products are sent either unpacked or in pallets if required (e.g. if there are many parts on an order).

How do I choose the right hose?

To achieve the best possible results and maximum reliability in your installation, you need to define the factors that are important for your particular choice of hose.

Temperature, material, ID mm, bend radius, pressure and environment.

How do I buy a complete hose solution?

We work daily to develop complete hose solutions for both machine manufacturers and other customers. All pressing, welding and assembly takes place in our own workshop and we offer test printing and material certification for all components. Our solutions are tailored to the customer's needs, regardless of the industry.

What does your ISO certification mean?

To become certified, you need to meet the requirements of the current ISO standard. Certification means an approved audit - and to become certified you first need to undergo a certification audit and be approved. The business is then awarded a certificate as proof that the requirements of the ISO standard have been met. 

In order to ensure the quality of the Hose Specialist, a number of basic principles and standards are applied in the company. In addition to structured quality work, this also means, in short, that we ensure that we are based on the needs of our customers and that our internal working methods are cost-effective. What rules apply to food hoses?

There are many laws regulating materials and products intended to come into contact with food. The overarching legislation is Regulation 1935/2004 - on materials and articles intended to come into contact with food. Our tubing complies with current regulations and requirements in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry, such as FDA, EU directives, US, BfR and Pharma. What happens if the hose breaks?

Any error or defect should always be complained to slang@slangspecialisten.se stating your name, address, e-mail address, order number and a description of the error. If we are unable to rectify the fault or supply a similar product, we will refund you for the defective product in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. We will pay the return freight for accepted complaints. You can read more about our delivery and purchase conditions here.


Do I have a right of withdrawal on my purchase?

If you regret your purchase, you need to let us know that you have changed your mind. You can send us an email at slang@slangspecialisten.se.

Your message should clearly state your name, address, email address, order number and the goods you are returning. If you have already received the products, you must return them to us immediately. The buyer is responsible for the return freight. The products should be sent well packed and if possible in the original packaging. We reserve the right to deduct 25% of the return amount.
